AD is ISO 45001 Accredited

The new ISO 45001 standard was introduced in March 2018 at which point OHSAS 18001 was withdrawn. AD is pleased to report that we have met the exacting requirements of the new standard and can now proudly say that we are an ISO 45001 compliant organisation.

URS Limited (an external awarding body for ISO/OHSAS accreditations) has been at our head office undertaking a comprehensive audit of our Health and Safety Management System. The purpose of the audit was to see whether our accredited OHSAS 18001 management system had been updated sufficiently to transit from the now withdrawn OHSAS 18001 standard, to the new ISO 45001 standard.

AD is pleased to report that we have met the exacting requirements of the new standard and can now proudly say that we are an ISO 45001 compliant organisation.

The new ISO 45001 standard was introduced in March 2018 at which point OHSAS 18001 was withdrawn. Organisations that currently hold OHSAS 18001 have a maximum of three years to review, revise and have their H&S system independently audited - in order to gain ISO 45001. AD has managed to do this inside 12 months, which is a tremendous achievement and one which demonstrates that AD Construction Group consistently perform to a high standard in health and safety management.

This achievement is a glowing testament to everyone in the business, who continue show and demonstrate excellent commitment to our SHEQ management arrangements.

Thank you to all AD staff for your professional approach to our SHEQ management systems, without your dedication and consistent application we would not achieve these significant milestones, which adds another fantastic chapter to the history and ongoing success of our company in our 75th year of business.
